Feminist Criticism and the Literary Canon in Italian Studies

The aim of this conference, organised by the Department of Italian at Cambridge University, is to investigate the impact of feminist practice and thought on Italian Studies. Its international character is intended to establish a common ground for discussion that will allow scholars to examine how feminist criticism has modified the academic debate regarding the concepts of literariness, literary canon, literary criticism and critical writing in the works of Italianists belonging to different generations as well as different academic contexts.
